Federal Express Entry

The Federal Express Entry is a Federal  immigration program. It features fast, high English proficiency, and priority invitation for those with high scores. Applicants must be in NOC TEER 0-3 occupations. ​ Program categories The Federal Express Entry is mainly divided into the following three categories: Canadian Experience Class Federal Skilled Class Federal Skilled Trades Class ​ Applicants must meet the minimum standards of at least one of the above three categories to establish a profile in the Express Entry system (EE system) and enter the invitation pool. The EE system will score each person's specific situation (CRS score) and then invite high-scoring applicants to apply for permanent residence approximately every two weeks. ​ The EE system may invite according to one of the three categories, or not according to one of the categories, but issue a general invitation. From May 2023, the EE system will begin to introduce another type of invitation, namely invitation by industry. Existing industries include: French Healthcare Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Skilled Trades Transportation ​Agriculture and Agro-products Program Advantages Fast review speed, and permanent residency status is generally approved within 6 months after submitting a permanent residency application. Low application fee Invitation based on score, high scorers are given priority, fair and transparent.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class  is aimed at applicants with Canadian work experience, such as international students and temporary foreign workers with certain Canadian work experience. Since those with Canadian work experience can better adapt to Canada's employment and living environment, they are welcomed by immigration programs, and the Immigration Bureau has given more Canadian Experience Class invitation quotas. The program only requires work experience and language, and there are no academic qualifications or employer sponsorship requirements. The minimum requirements of the program are: ​Work experience requirements: At least 1 year of full-time or equivalent full-time work experience in Canada within 3 years before the application date, and the work belongs to NOC TEER 0-3. Note: The following work experience cannot be counted as CEC work experience: Work experience gained during full-time study; Self-employed work experience (unless you are a doctor or medical laboratory worker); Work experience as an illegal worker Language requirements: For NOC TEER 0-1 jobs, you must reach CLB 7 in English (e.g. IELTS listening, speaking, reading and writing 6) or NCLC 7 in French; for NOC TEER 2-3 jobs, you must reach CLB 5 (e.g. IELTS listening 5, speaking 5, reading 4 and writing 5) or NCLC 5 in French. ​After obtaining permanent residency, you will live in a province or territory outside of Quebec, Canada. ​ Work experience can be obtained while holding a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) or other work permits (LMIA-based or LMIA-exempt). When applying, you must indicate that the work experience meets the NOC leading statement and main duties list. Calculation of work experience: at least 1 year of full-time or full-time equivalent work experience within 3 years before the date of application: Full-time work: 30 hours/week * 52 weeks (1 year) = 1560 hours (1 year of full-time experience) Equivalent to full-time: 1560 hours of part-time work experience accumulated within 3 years (can be 1 or more part-time jobs), the work time that can be counted per week cannot exceed 30 hours (even if the actual work exceeds 30 hours/week, it can only be calculated as 30 hours/week). The work must be paid, volunteer work and unpaid internship work experience cannot be counted as CEC work experience. ​ Who cannot apply for the experience-based immigration program: Refugee applicants Currently working illegally No legal status in Canada when accumulating work experience​

Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC)

The Federal Skilled Worker Class is suitable for skilled workers with domestic/foreign work experience. ​ The class requires applicants to meet the work experience, language, education and FSWC point system minimum score requirements. The minimum requirements are: ​ ​Work experience: 1 year of continuous full-time work experience or full-time equivalent work experience (can be obtained domestically or overseas) in the 10 years before the application date, and the work experience belongs to NOC TEER 0-3; Education: High school graduation (graduated from a Canadian or overseas school); Language: English CLB 7 (for example: IELTS listening, speaking, reading and writing 6666) or French NCLC 7; At least 67 points in the Federal Skilled Worker Points Table (FSWC point system); After obtaining permanent residency, you will live in a province or region in Canada other than Quebec; Have enough resettlement funds to support yourself and your family to live in Canada (unless you have obtained a work permit). ​ Work experience can be obtained in Canada or abroad. When applying, you must show that your work experience meets the NOC's leading statement and main duties list. How to calculate work experience: At least 1 year of continuous full-time or full-time equivalent work experience within 10 years before the date of application: Full-time work: 30 hours/week * 52 weeks (1 year) = 1560 hours (1 year of full-time experience) Equivalent to full-time: 1560 hours of part-time work experience accumulated within 3 years (can be 1 or more part-time jobs), the work time that can be counted per week cannot exceed 30 hours (even if the actual work exceeds 30 hours/week, it can only be calculated as 30 hours/week). Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC)

The Federal Skilled Trades Class is suitable for skilled workers with domestic/foreign work experience. ​ The class requires applicants to meet work experience, language, education and other requirements. The minimum requirements for the program are: Work experience: Within 5 years before the date of application, accumulate 2 years of full-time work experience or equivalent full-time work experience (can be obtained domestically or overseas), and the work experience belongs to NOC TEER 2-3; Education: There is no specific requirement, but if NOC has requirements, it needs to be met; Language: English-listening and speaking CLB5, reading and writing CLB 4 (IELTS listening and speaking reading and writing 5, 5, 3.5, 4), or French-listening and speaking NCLC5, reading and writing NCLC 4; Work or skill certificate: Have a job offer of at least 1 year from a Canadian employer (based on LMIA), or have a provincial or regional skilled trade certificate; After obtaining permanent residency, you will live in a province or region other than Quebec in Canada; Have enough resettlement funds to support yourself and your family to live in Canada (unless you have obtained a work permit). ​Work experience can be obtained in Canada or abroad. When applying, the work experience must meet the NOC's leading statement and main duties list. Work experience calculation method: at least 1 year of continuous full-time or full-time equivalent work experience within 5 years before the application date: Full-time work: 30 hours/week * 52 weeks/1 year * 2 years = 3120 hours (2 years of full-time experience) Full-time equivalent: 3120 hours of part-time work experience accumulated within 5 years (can be 1 or more part-time jobs), the work time that can be counted per week cannot exceed 30 hours (even if the actual work exceeds 30 hours/week, it can only be calculated as 30 hours/week). The work must be paid, and work experience during study is also counted, but volunteer work and unpaid internship work experience cannot be counted as FSTC work experience.​

Canada Express Entry Category-Based Selection: Healthcare Industry

The federal Express Entry invites healthcare professionals. The requirements are:

1. Meet the minimum requirements of the federal Express Entry system;

2. Have at least half a year of full-time work experience in a healthcare occupation(domestic or overseas) within 3 years before the date of application submission.
